What is sick leave pay?
Sick leave pay also called sick pay or paid sick leave, is the compensation that employees receive when they are out of work due to illness, injury, disability, or a health condition. Sick leave pay is also extended to employees who need to take care of an ill family member.
During their paid sick leave, employees might be entitled to full or partial wages depending on the state laws or employer guidelines.
